Most deposit deductions come from the same few places: the oven, the fridge, the bathrooms, and the floors. If those are clean, the walkthrough usually goes well.
Clean the oven inside, including the racks and the door glass. Empty the fridge and freezer, wipe every shelf and drawer, and leave the doors open a crack if the power will be off.
In bathrooms, scrub the tub, shower walls, grout, and toilet base, and wipe out the vanity drawers and medicine cabinet.
Once the rooms are empty, wipe the inside of cabinets and closets, clean baseboards and light switches, and vacuum and mop every floor.
